is a Clinical Professor of Medicine and Professor of Public Health at the University of Arizona and founder and director of the university’s Center for Integrative Medicine. Dr. Weil is a nationally respected authority on integrative therapies in patient care. He conducted the first published human trials on cannabis, and has worked closely with principal investigators in National Institute of Health sponsored clinical trials of cannabinoids and cancer. Dr. Weil has a Harvard AB degree in Botany and is a graduate of Harvard Medical School. He is the editorial director of the popular website, drweil.com.

Chief Compliance Officer Gregory Park, MD
has specialized in Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology, and Primary Care Medicine on the island of Maui since 1980.. He has been a staff physician at the Maui Memorial Cancer Center from 1985 to the present, having served as Medical Director of the Cancer Center from 1984-2007. He served on the Board of Medical Examiners for the State of Hawaiʻi from 1996 to 2004.

specializes in pediatric neurology in Kaneohe and Honolulu and is an Assistant Clinical Professor at the UH School of Medicine and former examiner on the National Board of Medical Examiners. Dr. Yim unexpectedly became a respected and vocal medical cannabis advocate when the parents of one of his pediatric patients requested it as therapy for Dravet Syndrome.

Medical Advisor Julie Holland, MD, is a psycho-pharmacologist, psychiatrist, author and nationally renowned expert on drugs. She is the medical monitor for multiple ongoing studies of psychoactive substance-assisted psychotherapy in the treatment of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). As assistant professor of psychiatry at NYU School of Medicine, she spent her weekends running the psychiatric emergency room at Bellevue Hospital for nine years, publishing her memoir, Weekends at Bellevue, in 2009. She is also editor of The Pot Book: A Complete Guide to Cannabis.

Medical Advisor Donald Abrams, M.D., is chief of the Hematology-Oncology Division at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital, integrative oncologist at the UCSF Osher Center for Integrative Medicine, and Professor of Clinical Medicine at UC San Francisco. Dr. Abrams most recently served on the prestigious National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine’s Committee of The Health Effects of Cannabis and Cannabinoids: “The Current State of Evidence and Recommendations for Research.” Just sixteen nationally-prominent physicians and researchers were selected to review and research 10,000 scientific abstracts to produce the comprehensive report published in 2017.

Medical Advisor James Peake, MD, LTG US Army (Ret.) is the former US Secretary of Veterans Affairs, having served from December 2007 through January 2009 as the government’s principal advocate for veterans. In retirement, his interest in veterans’ wellbeing has widened to include the promise of medical cannabis therapy. He retired from a 38+-year United States Army career in 2004, during which he served as the 40th Surgeon General of the United States Army, commanding 50,000 medical personnel and 187 army medical facilities worldwide. Prior to that he served as Commanding General of the US Army Medical Department Center and School.

Institutional Review Officer Brian Becker, MD is an international consultant in Integrative Medicine-related product development, and was engaged in the FDA compliance of botanical based dietary supplements for over a decade.  Dr. Becker was recruited from his residency in Family Practice to work and develop the initial curriculum within the Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona.
